DESKTOP APPLICATIONS

SEOUL--Shinyoung Securities, a Seoul, South Korea-based brokerage, is testing a pre-release version of Jusic, a Java-based display application for real-time equities information. Jusic is a product of Daum Communications, a software vendor that is also based in Seoul.

The brokerage expects to go live with the software in June. The vendor, for its part, plans to launch a full release of the product in July, say Daum officials. Shinyoung officials could not be reached for comment at press time.
