Bank Of Canada's FX Operation Gets Fully Unix Dectrade

Bank of Canada, that country's central bank, went live last week with a new trading room system based on hardware and local data distribution software supplied by Digital Equipment Corp. The small installation -- supporting about 10 positions -- is the first North American site to feature a fully UNIX version of the vendor's DECtrade digital data distribution platform.
