First Boston, Tech Partners To Swap Capital For Analytics

First Boston Corp. and Stamford, Conn.-based trading firm Tech Partners Ltd. have formed a joint venture -- FB Tech Joint Venture -- to develop analytics applications for both firms. The deal will give Tech Partners capital with which to trade and develop analytics that would be available to traders on First Boston's equities and fixed-income trading floors.
