Citi, Solly, Merrill, Morgan Use Neovision Heatmaps

Pittsburgh-based software vendor Neovision Hypersystems has announced an upgrade of its Real-Time Analytic Heatmaps package. Sources say that the Neovision system, which produces animated color charts from live market data, is being used by several major U.S. securities firms for analyzing exchange-traded equity options.

According to sources, the Heatmaps system has been implemented by equity options traders at Chase Manhattan Bank (now merged with Chemical Bank), Deutsche Bank North America, J.P
