Telerate Systems Workstation Weds TTRP Architecture To PC'


Dow Jones Telerate's new PC platform strategy has begun to take shape.

The vendor has begun demonstrating to customers a Microsoft Corp. Windows-based version of its digital data distribution platform. Called the Telerate Systems Workstation, the product uses a reliable broadcast protocol developed by the former FX Development Corp. (FXD), now known as Telerate Trading Room Products -- but soon to be renamed Telerate Systems.

Previously, TTRP's PC interface was limited to DOS-based PCs running
