HP Aims Vertica at Market Data Analytics

Hardware vendor Hewlett-Packard is planning to leverage February’s acquisition of data warehouse and in-database analytics provider Vertica to target end-users in the capital markets looking to perform increasingly fast and sophisticated analysis on massive amounts of tick data.
