Sybase Puts R in RAP

Sybase last week announced that it has integrated the R programming language for statistical analysis applications with its Sybase RAP real-time analytics platform, to support faster development of trading algorithms and back-testing against historical data. The integration allows programmers running calculations in R to pre-process some of those and directly access volumes of historical data in RAP.
