Almax Hires PhD Shynkevich as Data Scientist

Shynkevich's PhD research involved using machine-learning to predict price movements based on data and news.

Before joining Almax, Shynkevich spent the past four years as a PhD researcher in quantitative data science at Ulster University, using machine-learning techniques to forecast stock price movements based on time-series data and news, prior to which she worked at Allied Testing as a QA team lead for Deutsche Bank and as a financial engineering team lead for Thomson Reuters.
