Sell-Side Technology Awards 2016: All the Winners and Why they Won

This year's Sell-Side Technology Awards, held at the Marriott Marquis in New York on April 21, featured 26 individual categories and 27 winners. Here is an overview of this year’s winners and why they won.

SmartStream won the best reconciliations platform category and shared the technology provider of the year award with Numerix.

Not only did Numerix and Smartstream win awards in individual categories ─ best credit risk product and best sell-side reconciliation platform, respectively ─ but they also finished in the top three in several other categories, illustrating both firms' impressive versatility. The other award announced on the evening of April 21 was for the best overall sell-side product, won by New York-based R3, which also won the most promising sell-side startup category.
