Steve Randich, Citi

Over his five-year tenure as CIO of the institutional client group at Citi, Steve Randich and his team have focused on improving middle- and back-office efficiency and integrating the systems they inherited with the bank’s acquisition of Salomon Brothers and Smith Barney, which were bolted on. As a result, Citi has gone from the 12th best clearing firm across many over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives to first, according to officials from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC).
