Reuters Readies Data Product For Portfolio Managers


Reuters is adopting Internet technology to deliver information to non-trading room users at financial institutions over their own intranets. This quarter, it will unveil Reuters Market Monitor (RMM), providing up-to-date, non-dynamic data at a lower price than its traditional real-time services.

Drawing on Reuters' Triarch 2000 data delivery system with Internet protocols and technology from an outside vendor, RMM will be a "middle-tier" data product, says Stephen Higgins, Reuters Europe
