Tradepoint Ready To Go Live, Give London Stock Exchange First Taste Of Competition


U.K.-based Tradepoint Financial Networks is preparing itself for the launch of its order-driven electronic trading service, scheduled to officially open for business Sept. 21. The service will provide the first alternative to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in its 200-year history.

Originally, the company had planned to introduce its service in March of last year, but this plan was delayed by a decision to apply to the Securities and Investment Board (SIB) for the status of a Recognized
