Sunsoft's Java Lets Vendors Send Financial Analysis Apps Via The World Wide Web

Three software houses have released options pricing calculators recently--but not through traditional media such as diskettes and CD-Roms. Instead, these applications have been made available over the Internet's World Wide Web, using Sunsoft Inc.'s recently unveiled Java programming language. Previously skeptical industry observers say the appearance of these mini-applications mark a significant shift in the way derivatives analytics software is marketed and distributed to end-users.
