Euro funds can learn from US

NEW YORK – Pricing and reference data are two of the key market data needs in the mutual fund industry, with data values such as common symbology and corporate actions emerging as important requirements as funds increase their consumption of data, according to Reuters and Greenwich Associates.

However, as mutual funds increase their spending on market data, a divergence is emerging between North American and non-US firms; European firms are only spending around half as much as their US
