FactSet unveils Data-as-a-Service offering

The vendor is introducing the suite of managed services for more efficient data management as emerging technologies, like GenAI, require more from datasets.

In 2019, FactSet set out to transform its tech stack. Internally, the vendor wanted to change the way it managed its data, moving from a siloed system to a single data layer. The idea was that with a more cohesive data layer, FactSet could move faster.

It’s now applying some of that same internal thinking to its client’s needs.

The vendor is launching its own data-as-a-service (DaaS) to provide clients with the tools needed to collect, manage, and integrate data. Clients using DaaS will be able to
