Infrastructure-as-a-service provider Options IT has hired Ian Bowell as head of technology for the Americas, responsible for the vendor’s technology engineering, networking and support teams in the region, and for growing its Options Pipe cloud offering. Bowell was previously chief technology officer at London-based fund of hedge funds Fauchier Partners, prior to which he was CTO at London Diversified Fund Management, and held senior IT roles at various firms, including Credit Suisse and ING
