Fintech powering LSEG’s AI Alerts dissolves
ModuleQ, a partner and investment of Refinitiv and then LSEG since 2018, was dissolved last week after it ran out of funding.
ModuleQ, an AI startup founded in 2011 in California by David Brunner, told employees last week the company had ceased operations and all workers were terminated, effective immediately. Though the company had been a partner of Refinitiv and then London Stock Exchange Group since 2018, officials said it had run out of funding.
Brunner confirmed that the company had closed its doors, but declined to comment further.
The news came as a surprise to most of the company’s 20-some employees. ModuleQ
