Selectfeed Plus To Go Live In 1Q -- But For 1,200 RICS

When Reuters releases Selectfeed Plus in North America -- as it hopes to by the end of this quarter -- it will do so without the broadcast component the new feed includes in Europe. As a result, the feed won't initially be capable of maintaining the 9,600 RICs that Selectfeed Plus was meant to keep on its watchlist (IMD, July 19, 1993).
Reuters will launch the broadcast component in the second quarter of this year, says Sarah Dunn, Reuters vice president. Until then, the interactive-only feed
