Goldman Sachs Gloomy on Bloomberg

Bloomberg will lose market share for its data services in 2003 because of its high prices and inflexibility, according to media analysts at Goldman Sachs.

Vighnesh Padiachy, an analyst in the Goldman Sachs global equity research team, says in a recently published report that Bloomberg is coming under greater pressure as financial institutions look to reduce absolute costs per unit now that the worst of the headcount reduction is over.
