Sageworks' New US Index

Raleigh, North Carolina-based software company Sageworks has introduced a new index that gauges the overall economic health of privately held US companies.
The ProfitCents Industrial Average represents a database of about 90,000 privately held companies. The metrics used to determine the value of the index are converted to units that are similar in magnitude and scaled for their relative importance to determine the health of a business.
