Thomson Reuters Adds Oil Supply Flows Data to Eikon

The new tool, dubbed Commodity Flows, creates a single database of individual oil shipping cargos by collecting data on the physical oil supply chain from a number of sources, including tenders, fixtures, customs, vessel tracking and port inspections.

"We've layered on top of this our own proprietary assessment using various algorithms and manual assessments. Customers can take the raw data from any of these individual sources or build on top of the resulting model," says Leigh Henson, global
