As we approach the US Thanksgiving holiday, it seems appropriate to touch on some issues that the market data industry can give thanks for this week—innovation, competition, and a marketplace which, though cut-throat at times, can also foster camaraderie and committed support.
It may not seem like the folks at HyperFeed Technologies can have much to be thankful for now that the company looks set to disappear and all but a few staff will find themselves without jobs—so we spare a thought for them
