Countries' beneficial ownership disclosure rule differences spur Thomson Reuters to add content to DataScope

Regulators are getting more aggressive in fining banks—and they have the buy side in their sights now, says Tim Lind, Boston-based global head of financial regulatory solutions at Thomson Reuters.

Deutsche Bank, UBS and Barclays are just some of the banks that have been slapped with massive fines this year.

Responding to concerns from buy-side clients, Thomson Reuters has added new content to DataScope to support shareholder and beneficial ownership, the company said this week.
