Swift Wins ISO Vote for RA Role

Swift has been selected as the registration authority (RA) for the new International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard for legal entity identification, following a one-month ISO voting process.

Swift and the Association of National Numbering Agencies had both submitted proposals to ISO to become the RA for the new standard.

FCA declines to directly regulate market data prices

A year-long investigation by the UK regulator to determine whether competition is hindered in the wholesale data markets has concluded with its decision not to directly regulate much-maligned data pricing and licensing structures.
