EIOPA Publishes Final Solvency II Reporting Requirements

The Frankfurt-based European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) has published its final report on the disclosure and reporting requirements for Solvency II—the European Union (EU) directive on capital adequacy and risk management for insurers—and is encouraging the industry to use the report as the basis for starting its implementation.

The report, which follows public consultation processes launched at the end of last year, states the level of granularity of the information
