FSB Sets September Deadlines For LEI Proposals

The Financial Stability Board has set two September deadlines for outside input into its legal entity identifier (LEI) plans—September 10 for legal advice on establishing its planned Central Operating Unit (COU) for the LEI, and September 22 for proposals concerning the operational system for the global LEI that would be presented to the FSB’s LEI Implementation Group on October 15.

The FSB is asking legal experts for advice on the most appropriate jurisdiction in which to establish the COU
