Data Validator Criticizes DTCC's Identifier Database


The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has defended the quality of data maintained in the utility it is operating for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Interim Compliant Identifier (CICI)—the precursor to the legal entity identifier (LEI) that identifies parties to financial transactions—following criticism of the number of duplicates and empty fields in the database.
