Fatca Registration Portal Launched

The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has launched the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca) registration portal, following a one-month delay.

Financial firms with obligations under the US anti-tax evasion regulation can now use the web portal to provide information required by the IRS. The portal was originally due to be launched on July 15.
