Canadian LOU Chooses GMEI Utility
CDS Clearing and Depository Services, designated last month as the local operating unit for legal entity identifiers (LEIs) in Canada, plans to use the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Global Markets Entity Identifier (GMEI) utility, which is operated in collaboration with Swift, according to officials.
