HyperFeed Cuts Its Staff

ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY

HyperFeed Technologies, a Chicago-based market data and technology vendor, announced last week that it is restructuring its business and cutting 20 employees, one-fifth of its work force. The news comes one week before the company's third quarter earnings are due to be released.

The company, which reported a first-half net loss of $896,734 in July, expects to reduce annual expenses by $2.2 million through the job cuts. HyperFeed also says it is consolidating "excess facilities" but refuses to
