Euronext, the Pan-European cash and derivatives exchange group, last week set out its plans for the London Stock Exchange’s business, as its bidding war with Deutsche Börse continues.

Euronext is hoping to woo LSE shareholders--which comprise the major UK market participants--with promises of reduced fees for trading and information services. The exchange says that immediately on closure of a deal it will cut fees by 10 percent for UK central book trading and for clients using a combined package
