Torstone Makes Inferno Available In Virtual Private Clouds
Software vendor Torstone Technology has made Inferno, its clearing, settlement and accounting system, available in virtual private cloud (VPC) environments such as Amazon and Rackspace, in a move it says will help firms reduce costs and improve flexibility.
Torstone has migrated all reliance that Inferno had on non-standard operating system libraries onto standard libraries and packaged these within the Inferno installation directories.
