FINRA Taps Morningstar for 'Market Data Center' Investor Portal

finra-new-york-2009

US financial industry regulator FINRA has enlisted Chicago-based data and investment research provider Morningstar to relaunch its Market Data Center website, which aims to increase transparency -- particularly in bond markets -- by providing data and information to retail investors.

The site provides intraday prices and fundamental data for US bonds, equities, options, indexes, mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, and information on corporate, municipal, treasury and agency bonds, ratings from the three major credit rating agencies, reported trade data from FINRA's TRACE (Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine) feed and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.
