FTSE Russell, Trendrating Ally for Momentum Indexes
The move reflects increasingly sophisticated passive investment needs and demand for factor indexes, officials say.
The two will develop a range of products based on the FTSE Global Equity Index Series that will incorporate Trendrating's momentum model and supporting data as a core component of the methodology.
Trendrating provides a range of tools designed to maximize investment performance and improve risk control. More than 100 institutional fund managers across Europe, the US and Asia use the company's momentum metrics to help them improve their investment decision-making process.
