Financial information services provider Markit has launched its CTI Tax Solutions service for the Common Reporting Standard (CRS), the global tax information reporting framework commonly known as "Gatca."

Gatca is loosely based on the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca), and Markit's CTI Tax Solutions, similarly, is built upon the company's Fatca compliance offering announced March 18, including its application programming interface (API), according to Chris Daftary, managing director
