A look at some of the key people moves from the past week, including Vicky Sanders (pictured).
Top Treasury Official Joins dv01
Craig Phillips, former counselor to the US Secretary of the Treasury, will join dv01 as their new senior advisor.
dv01, a data management, reporting and analytics platform, hired Phillips to assist in their C-suite and senior leadership team.
During his time at the Treasury, Phillips led domestic finance and drove housing reform policy, serving as counselor to secretary Steven Mnuchin. In previous roles, Phillips was head of the securitized product group at Morgan Stanley, co-head of U.S asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities at Credit Suisse, and he spent nearly a decade as BlackRock’s managing director, where he founded and led the financial markets advisory group.
Liquidnet Hires New Global Head of Investment Analytics
Vicky Sanders will be appointed into the newly-created role of global head of investment analytics at Liquidnet, and will report directly to Liquidnet president Brian Conroy.
In this role, Sanders will lead Liquidnet’s investment analytics, focusing on artificial intelligence capabilities in line with the firm’s recent acquisition of OTAS Technologies and Prattle.
Sanders joined Liquidnet through the firm’s acquisition of RSRCHXchange in May 2019 after co-founding the exchange in 2014. Prior to RSRCHXchange, Sanders worked at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch as well as being head of analytics sales at Marex Spectron.

Broadridge Hires President of Wealth Management
A newly created role for Michael Alexander will see him as Broadridge’s president, wealth management. He will oversee the wealth solutions arm of the business, aiming to enhance the client experience of Broadridge’s wealth solutions into a more integrated wealth management business.
Alexander will report directly to Tom Carey, president of global technology and operations.
Alexander has been with Broadridge since 2006 where he has worked his way through different positions of authority and responsibility, gaining a broad understanding of the company.
Prior to Broadridge, Alexander was senior vice president of operations at Charles Schwab. He is also a member of the SIFMA operations and technology steering committee.
Siepe Appoints New Product Office
Siepe, a provider of technology, analytics and data has appointed Brian Shearer as chief product officer. His role will entail leading Siepe’s product vision and development within the firm’s product suite.
With 32 years of industry experience, Shearer’s previous roles saw him as chief information officer at Maverik Capital, a company he was with for 17 years. Prior to that, he was chief product officer at a financial services startup called, Wealthmetrics.
Cutter Associates Hires Senior Director
Chanelle Crabtree will join Cutter Associates as senior director, based in their new Sydney office.
Crabtree has over 30 years experience in the investment management space and formerly held the position of director at Deloitte, where she specialised in developing operating models, sourcing and implantation.
Cutter Associates hopes the expansion of the Sydney office and the hiring of Crabtree will give them the opportunity to work more closely with leading organisations in Australia.
