LEI Foundation to Focus on Search for CEO, But COU Unlikely This Year

The board of directors of the newly created Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), which held its inaugural meeting last week, plans to appoint a CEO and create a legal agreement governing its relationship with local operating units (LOUs) before the end of the year, but it does not expect the central operating unit (COU) to be operational by this time.
