Artificial Intelligence Helps Tackle Regulatory Conflicts
WayMark Technologies has built a platform that automates the crossover between European regulations.
Wayfinder came about after the vendor’s founder, Mark Holmes, identified a couple issues relating to how financial firms approached their compliance projects.
“While working with a technology vendor in transaction and trade reporting, I saw clients struggling with understanding the regulatory landscape,” he tells WatersTechnology.
The first problem he saw was that end-users went through a manual process, highlighting in the paper which article or regulation applied to their firm.
