ISO 20022 Likely Stalled For Years More, Say Corporate Actions Execs

Efforts to move corporate actions messaging standards forward to the newer ISO 20022 format, and phase out the older ISO 15022 are likely to remain at a standstill for the foreseeable future, with the two standards forced to co-exist or cooperate, according to corporate actions professionals who spoke during a webcast hosted by Inside Reference Data and sponsored by SunGard XSP on July 17.

"Unless there is regulatory or industry pressure, companies aren't going to invest money," said Selvaraman

FCA declines to directly regulate market data prices
