Corvil Launches MiFID 2-Compliant Latency Monitoring Tool

The vendor has adapted its existing latency management tools to cover the time-synchronization requirements of Europe's MiFID 2 rules.

The offering focuses on the European Securities and Markets Authority's technical specifications for MiFID 2 around time-synchronized trading data, and combines Corvil's existing nanosecond-level timestamps and time-synchronization monitoring with new precision-synchronized record-keeping to produce a time-sequenced record of events leading up to a trade.

Previously, Corvil did not record timestamps from within the application stack, such as from within the smart order router, order management

FCA declines to directly regulate market data prices
