New Perspective: AMQP Working Group Targets the Enterprise with Version 1.0

The industry working group behind the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) has announced the general availability of version 1.0 of the open-source wire protocol following seven years of development. The group will submit the version to the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (Oasis) to turn it into a true standard.
