BNP Paribas SS Helps Italian Banks with T2S Compliance

BNP Paribas Securities Services wins T2S mandates from four Italian banks.

BNP Paribas provides local and global custody in all markets. that will eventually migrate to the T2S platform.

Banco di Credito Popolare, Banca Popolare dell'Alto Adige, Banca Popolare di Vicenza, and Veneto Banca have turned to BNP Paribas Securities Services to receive local and global custody services ahead of the T2S implementation, designed to harmonize cross-border settlements in Europe, increasing the efficiency of the European financial markets.

"Italy will pioneer T2S, becoming the first major market to move all securities transactions to the platform," says Alessandro Gioffreda, the head of BNP
