Torstone Expands Inferno Platform with US Module
Module designed to meet demand for offshore products among US domestic clients seeking diversification.
The expanded Inferno platform will help domestic US clients to meet the demands of offshore investing and reducing back office costs by automating settlement processes for international trades, reducing settlement risk and improving straight through processing (STP) rates, according to Torstone.
"A changing investment landscape in the US is making tough operational demands of banks and brokers," says Brian Collings, CEO of Torstone Technology. "As they increasingly look to provide their domestic clients with greater variety from offshore and international financial products, many are finding their systems are not set up to accommodate these vehicles efficiently. Inferno will help them to meet this new investor appetite for international exposure."
Inferno won the best implementation category at last year's Sell-Side Technology Awards with its project at Daiwa Capital Markets (Europe).
