Capital Group, With Andersen, Tests DST Belvedere's Fit

Capital Group Inc., along with its long-time consultant Andersen Consulting Inc., is conducting tests of a portfolio accounting system from DST Belvedere Inc. The firm is looking to determine how DST Belvedere's Global Portfolio System (GPS) might be integrated with Capital's proprietary applications--many of which were built with Andersen's help.
Capital has been developing a variety of in-house systems to support its investment management businesses for more than two years. The firm asked
