SolarFlare Fires Up Timestamps

Irvine, Calif.-based network acceleration technology vendor SolarFlare recently released a new 10-Gigabit Ethernet server adapter with precision timestamping utilizing the Precision Time Protocol, which the vendor says makes the new SFN5322F server 1,000 times more precise than its previous generation of tools, to help monitor and improve the performance of high-frequency trading networks.
